Diamond Clarity

Clarity in a diamond is defined as its freedom from natural inclusions, also known as clarity characteristics. Diamond clarity grades are based on how visible the characteristics are and how they effect the appearance and durability of a diamond.

The grades range from Flawless to Included. The higher the clarity (fewer inclusions) the rarer and more valuable the diamond is. A diamond with a clarity grade of SI2 or higher, will typically not have any inclusions that are visible to the naked eye.

LeGassick look for diamonds free from any visible inclusions. Furthermore, for any that are naturally occurring, we ensure that they do not inhibit the diamonds brilliance or quality.
